Oneself Raises Most Money In A Single Event in AC Portland’s History

On October 25th, Oneself, Inc., participated in a 50/50 raffle at Providence Park Timber’s vs. Rapids Soccer game as Active Children ticket sellers. Active Children Portland empowers students to lead healthy lives, succeed academically and inspire positive community engagement through youth sports. “Being fairly new to the Portland area, we wanted to give back to our community while also utilizing our awesome communication skills to help with a cause we are passionate about.  We found AC Portland focuses on youth and believe in creating a better tomorrow.”–Oneself, Inc. President Caitlin Carey. We raised $12,135!! (This is the most amount of money raised for a single event in AC Portland’s history!) WHY AC Portland? One of our representatives had previously worked with AC Portland and gave rave reviews. We also wanted to contribute and volunteer with a local organization that focused on helping children have a more fulfilling life and a healthier tomorrow. AC Portland provides after school programs and health education to at-risk youth in the Portland Metro area. We were also able to combine our love of sports and philanthropy by working with AC Portland at the Timbers vs Rapids soccer game in downtown Portland! This year AC Portland and the Timbers will continue their partnership by selling tickets at every game. Sales start two hours prior to game time, the lucky winner of half of the proceeds will be announced during the game.
